SKILL TRAINING PROGRAM

AEESPL aims to develop the core skills of the workforce subjected in heavy equipment handling; in order to improve their work productivity, occupational safety and to promote self-employment. AEESPL involves in a process of identifying skill gaps; for which AEESPL has specially developed skill development courses to hone these skills to perfection.

Mobile Crane Operator

The mobile crane may be the most powerful piece of equipment in the construction industry. Mobile crane operation requires physical coordination, stamina, focus and concentration.

Tower Crane Operator

Tower crane is a common fixture at any major construction site. Tower crane operators manoeuvre these machines and check to make sure they function properly by moving levers and pushing pedals.

Overhead Crane Operator

An overhead crane is generally equipped with a hoist rope, wire ropes or chains, and sheaves, which can be used both to lift and lower materials and to move them horizontally.

Articulated Crane Operator

The articulated crane mostly consists of a flatbed truck having a rear end small articulated crane. The articulated crane truck is highly used for light construction or small building maintenance.

Digger Derrick Operator

A digger derrick is a specialized type of equipment designed to install utility poles, it typically comes equipped with augers to drill holes for the poles, and with a hydraulic boom to lift the poles and set them in the holes.

Signal Person / Rigger

The need for an accomplished industrial signal person / rigger can never be underestimated, the most superior crane operator is only as good as the instructions they're given on the job site from a signal person / rigger.

Heavy Equipment Technician

Technicians are responsible for repairing and maintaining the equipment, their duties may include replacing defective parts, cleaning equipment, testing machinery, and overhauling cranes.

Crane Inspector

A well-trained, qualified inspector could save a great deal of money and time by avoiding unscheduled downtime, costly repairs and accidents.
